Accused hashish smuggler arrested by police

Police raided Sargam Road of Sugauli in Motihari and arrested a smuggler with a huge amount of hashish. The arrested smuggler was going towards the station with 14 kg 530 grams of hashish in the backpack of Rasool Azam. On receiving the information, the SP said that the smuggler was caught after a raid under the leadership of ASP Shikhar Chaudhary and Police Zone Inspector Ashok Kumar Pandey and Police Station Head Amit Kumar Singh. The cost of the recovered hashish has been estimated to be 43 lakh 59 thousand.
He informed that Sugauli police station in-charge Amit Kumar Singh received information that a smuggler is going on a motorcycle from Sargam Cinema Road of Sugauli, who has a huge amount of hashish. The police station in-charge informed the senior officers and on the basis of the instructions received, raided with the police force and arrested the accused. The arrested smuggler has been identified as a resident of Baksa village of Sugauli. The police have also recovered a railway ticket from Sugauli to Bombay from him.
During interrogation, many important things were revealed from the said smuggler. The network of the arrested smuggler is directly connected to Nepal. He used to get consignment of hashish from Sahdeva Mahdeva of Raxaul. Before this, he has brought consignment of hashish from Nepal to Mumbai eight to ten times. When the Sugauli police station chief came to know about this business, he developed a network to arrest him.
On Thursday, the accused was going to Mumbai again with hashish. The police had received this information. The raid was conducted at the right time and the police got this important success. The police has received information about its syndicate and the Sugauli police station in-charge is engaged in exposing this syndicate. SI Vishal Kshatriya, Rajesh Kumar and Shambhu Kumar etc. were included in the raiding team.
